Afro-Mexicans (mexicanos negros) are Mexicans who are mostly of African ancestry. Afro-Mexicans who used to be found in every part of Mexico now exist in certain parts of Mexico such as the Costa Chica of Oaxaca and Guerrero, Veracruz and in some cities in northern Mexico.​
